Remember when the non-alcoholic bev section was just a few sad bottles of sparkling cider?

Those days are OVER

Walked into a Mr. Mango the other day and was pleasantly surprised by their selection!

Very interesting to witness what I thought would be just a trend,

turn into the birth of a completely new category

sophisticated, delicious, and thoughtfully crafted!

---

If you know me, then you know I don't drink alcohol at all

My body just can't process it and it's always been an awkward explanation of WHY at social events

It's so nice to have non-alc options now that feel elevated and inclusive!

---

Visually, there's some patterns I'm noticing in the non-alc beverage space

Emphasis on natural & wellness:
Earthy tones, muted greens, and botanical illustrations. Think clean lines, minimalist typography, and imagery evoking nature

Premiumization & craft:
Forget the stigma of "missing out." NA brands are going all-in on premium aesthetics. Intricate label designs, metallic accents and embossing

Functional & adaptogenic callouts:
Benefit language like "stress-reducing," "mood-boosting," and "energy enhancing"

---

The non-alcoholic category is really interesting because

It's not just about what's missing (alcohol), but what's gained –

flavor, experience, and a conscious lifestyle

Excited to see how design continues to shape this category and drive its growth!

...And that I don't have to awkwardly sip a soda when I am out anymore!!

What's your fave go to drink?
